How the sheet adds up to the exact total
The planner works in the smallest unit of your currency, so there is no drift from rounding. A $1,000 target over 62 daily deposits is 100,000 cents shared across 62 dates: six deposits of $16.12 and fifty-six of $16.13 add up to $1,000.00 exactly.
- Remaining target is the target minus what you already saved and any deposits you have ticked.
- Same each time shares that amount evenly, with any leftover cents on the last deposits.
- Rising gives each later date a larger share, 1 part for the first deposit up to one part per deposit number at the end.
- Your limit caps any single deposit. If the limit cannot reach the target, the sheet tells you by how much.
- Edits never touch ticked jars. Open dates are re-spread so the total stays exact.

Quick answers
How do the deposits add up exactly?
Everything is counted in the smallest unit of your currency, such as cents. The deposits are shared out so they add up to precisely what is left to save. When the total does not divide evenly, the last few deposits are one smallest unit higher.
What happens if I change the target or dates after ticking jars?
Ticked deposits stay exactly as you recorded them. Only the dates that are still open are re-spread, so the sheet keeps adding up to the target you set.
What if my maximum deposit is too low?
The sheet shows the gap, the smallest deposit that would work, and three one-tap fixes: raise the limit, move the end date later, or aim for the amount your limit can reach.
Can I skip holidays or busy days?
Yes. Type single dates like 2026-12-25 or ranges like 2026-12-24 to 2026-12-26. Skipped dates get no deposit, and the others share the total.
Is anything saved or sent anywhere?
Your numbers stay in this browser. If you tick the save box, a copy is kept on this device until you delete it, and the delete button removes it straight away.
Does it work for currencies without decimals?
Yes. Yen, won and dong plans use whole units, and three-decimal currencies such as the Kuwaiti dinar use three decimals. The sums stay exact in each.
How do I print the sheet?
Choose A4 or Letter, switch on ink saver for plain outlines, then press Print. The printed page holds numbered boxes with the date and amount, ready to tick by hand.
Your first deposit is one number away.
